For once Salman Khan is right. I completely agree with him that Indian government and the over pious media in our country was taken aback by the audacity of the attack due to the selection of targets.
See the facts before the Mumbai attack: there were repeated and regular, rather periodic attacks on Indian civilians. In cities across the country the targets were lower middle class, working class, commuters and policemen. They were killed with impunity and a regularity that has never been witnessed across the globe. The government didn't react half as strongly.
The media and the powers in our country only noticed the attacks after they were specifically targeted. The people in power were targeted. This was the sole motive of the 26/11 terror attacks. What the hell you can even see the difference in coverage by the media while covering CST, Nariman Point and the five star hotels. The Taj and Trident were focussed upon too much. I am stating facts and everyone knows it is the truth. In fact, Salman should be congratulated that he has tried to raise such an important issue which deals with the very fact that a common man doesn't figure in the scheme of things of our country's established bosses.
