Why this hue and cry over the death of Jyoti Basu? It seems that we have forgotten the way he had turned the state around from being a forward state to a backward state. It is only Indian culture that has stopped the media from bringing up this fact that he was the sole reason for the flight of industry and educated professionals from West Bengal. So please stop these sob stories and let him rest in peace. For what he did during his lifetime was worse than whet the Laloo rule did to Bihar over a period of 15 years.
