What is the big deal if UP CM Mayawati is wearing a garland of currency notes. When leaders of other political parties are being feted by gold headgear, silver wear and currency during similar celebrations, what is the big deal if she does it. The media has once again gone to town with an irrelevant story. They should not indulge in double standards as such instances being indulged to by other "mainstream" parties also be looked at in the same view. While naming of parks, government institutes, projects run on tax payers money and other facilities is ok if they are named after a particular family but everyone cries hoarse if they are named after someone else. This attitude needs to be checked. And what is with the moralistic tone of the media. They would be the first ones to line up at the feet of Mayawati if she is doling out advertisements.
