Captain martyrd

There was no need for the young captain of Indian army to die in a firefight with the militants. The intelligence was a failure, which led him to a trap waiting for his death. The local police's and intelligence gathering agency's role in this entire encounter is suspect. There is a need for an independent inquiry into the incident as to who led this young officer to his premature death.
I am not undermining or undervaluing the lives of two other jawans killed in the encounter. But the point here is that an officer killed in war is a morale dampener for the forces and this should not be allowed in the future. We have to save other Devender Singh's from getting killed.
