The Congress is a master strategist. The local train ride has kicked the Shiv Sena right where it hurts the most. The party has again proven why it has remained the most popular in India even after several decades of misrule.
The aam aadmi may be breaking his back with steep rise in food prices but the party will spend crores on making such empty gestures which will never benefit our nation. The party is in power at both the Centre and the state level, for the past several years. So it has to make things happen and just stop taking people on a ride. And that too on a Mumbai local.
PS: And as for Shiv Sena they know they can never grow outside Maharashtra so they need to keep on harping on the Marathi manoos issue. Though I feel that the party has become irrelevant in its "own state".
